There will be an exhibition, lasting only a few days, of work by Suzanne Cooper (1916-92) at the Aldeburgh Gallery from 2nd to 6th July. As most readers will not be able to visit in person, and because she is so interesting, she is our subject on this week's Post. Hers is an all-too-common story of "exceptional talent" and a dazzling career in the 1930s interrupted by WWII followed by a fading from view.
