Following in the footsteps of Anna Atkins, many artists today create beautiful cyanotypes of flowers, plants, and leaves. Rosalind Hobley's work demonstrates the potential of an old-fashioned and simple technique when applied to the natural world. She says that each of her prints is "slightly different due to the brushstrokes and other variations in the handmade process". The end results, such as 'Agapanthus II', are highly detailed and sophisticated.
