Marie-Louise Pierrepont née Buttefield (1889-1984), later Countess Manvers, studied art in Paris (at the Académie Julian which was 'regarded as a progressive and liberal institution which welcomed women'). She married Gervas Butterfield in 1918 and had three children but one died of scarlet fever and one of septicaemia. Her surviving daughter Frederica (1925-2015), later Lady Rozelle Raynes, (extremely interesting Independent obituary here) is thought to be the subject of this  undated painting, Lady in a Blue Cardigan. There are 600 examples of Countess Manvers' artwork in The Pierrepont Collection at Thoresby Gallery.
