There is an excellent Substack (what would have been a blog in the old days) called Beyond Bloomsbury. We recommend it very highly. On July 28th it gave us nearly thirty absolutely glorious flower paintings, most of which were new to us. This week on the Post we choose five. This is Anemones in Yellow Jug by Christopher Wood 1927 (Southwark Heritage Centre). We also love the two books, which are French paperbacks. these were very influential when we decided on the 'look' of our books way back in 1998.
