We try and have these in a jug throughout January , February and March and they too have a heavenly scent. Ours come from the flower shop in the street (Dawson at number 43) or from the stall at Holborn station. These particular hyacinths are from Longfield Gardens in New Jersey who do a thriving mail order business and are highly recommended by American friends.
