Mysore has Re-Wrap which makes our bags, a stunning Palace, and the most amazing market (it’s vast and colourful, with piles and piles of beautifully displayed fruit and vegetables; and flowers). But we also liked seeing the house lived in by R K Narayan, whose novels accompanied us round South India. There are more photographs here; this one is poignant as his wife died the following year (cf. The English Teacher).
