The only possible subject for the Persephone Post this week is the Vice-President-Elect of the United States, Kamala Harris. The universal sense of happiness and relief is palpable. Though we mustn't forget that there are seventy million people who are angry and upset and how they behave over the coming months will be crucial to the wellbeing of all of us. And the Tory government here in the UK can't be too happy, so ditto. For now, let's celebrate.
